Posts will resume ASAP
I can't sit for too long at my desk at the moment ...
Hello! If you've found this Blog by chance while browsing, I hope you'll stay - I usually post something once a month on the first of the month. And thank you to all who have joined the ‘please remind me about your thoughts' email list!
If you'd like to be added to this list, just email me on:
I'm afraid, though, there are no 'thoughts' this month for the simple reason I'm somewhat incapacitated after a major hip replacement operation.
I had intended to get something written and scheduled, but found myself drowning in 'things I must do' and consequently getting more and more stressed, so I decided to calm down, stop panicking and set aside the non-essentials. Which doesn't in the least mean that you, Dear Reader and Friend, are non-essential (actually, you a VERY essential!) but I think, I hope, you know what I mean.
I've loaded my Kindle with some good books to read, scheduled what I can on my main Blog, and sorted out what DVDs I want to binge watch on TV. I intend to rest and recuperate for as long as it takes to get mobile again, while following instructions to do all the essential exercises. I'm also going to take the lead from Mrs Donnelly in The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (not the racist bits!) who was trundled around in a wheelchair.
I love the scene near the end where to everyone's astonishment she suddenly gets up, walks a few yards, then demands the chair back, while announcing...
"That's quite enough exercise for one day!"
Until next time, take care, and thank you for always 'being there'!
